Why not read comics?

I keep writing a deleting stuff but it just comes down to I'm a female fan of comics and I find it gross that you would lie just to get men's approval.

My at my last job all my co-workers were crazy religious and I didn't pretend to like Jesus to become their friends.

Secret poster isn't lying; they're just not being open about where their comics knowledge comes from, and that's a big difference. Also, while it's nice that you seem to stick to your principles and exist in your own separate little world, "getting along with your co-workers" is job security 101. Having common interests and making friends with people who can stick up for you when your back is turned or recommend you when specific jobs come up is only a good thing.

Also, a person's religion is far different from their hobbies. Don't compare the two, please.
