...Shit, good point. I read a brilliant Dean/Cas fic once where they had this hot-but-tragic relationship and at the end it was revealed that Dean was Dead All Along and wouldn't move on, etc. It was great. Now I'm wondering how I can mess with the ghost idea in my other fandoms...

While we're reccing Destiel fic that has "a ghost all along" as a reveal at the end - Ghost of Embers by Moorish Flower is freaking amazing.
