The moment the title for Captain America 2 came out, Tumblr went into melt-down. The fanwank going on between Clint/Natasha and Natasha/Bucky (two ships that have canon backgrounds) and Steve/Tony and Steve/Bucky was like someone handed me Christmas early. It was glorious if ever so head-desking.

So anything that contributes to the fanwank is a-okay with me *grabs the popcorn*

I should have included the Steve/Tony vs Steve/Bucky wank in the secret as well. The wank levels on Tumblr were pretty glorious for awhile. Feel free to come sit on the sidelines and enjoy popcorn with me.

You're totally right that tumblr had a meltdown, but, well, honestly I think it has already blown over. Most of us on either side tend to keep our heads down, ship the shit we like, and stay out of the tags. Yes, there's a contingent of tweens who like to screech about how much they hate clintasha/bucktasha/whatever the fuck they hate that week, but *every* fandom has that at some point.

Honestly? I've never been happier in a fandom (or found one to be less wanky). I've written a metric fuckton of clintasha since June, and I've only had nice stuff directed my way.
