(Anonymous) 2012-11-12 12:55 pm (UTC)(link)The word that's used for all works of this type, whether or not they have sex, is BL. Yaoi is for fanworks (doujinshi include iirc). Shounen ai is not used in Japan as it has pedophilic implications, and the distinction "yaoi has sex, shounen ai doesn't" is only used on the English language side of fandom.
