Considering that I've spent a good bit of time browsing deviantart for something in which she *is* aged up...no. No you're not. (Of course, coming across fic in which they have a ridiculously adorable father-daughter dynamic doesn't help. I'm torn as to which interpretation I prefer.)

I don't get how it would be inescapably sick. Regardless of whether she is and will forever be nine *in canon*, if someone writes a R/V fic they're (hopefully) writing within an AU in which she is or becomes mature enough to consent.
