Yeah, I don't shop at their thrift store anymore since I heard about that. Which is too bad because it's a good place to get cheap clothes, but I'll just have to find somewhere else. (Goodwill around here has prices that are way too high.)

You should try looking around online to see if there are any locally-owned thrift stores in your area. I always go to an Arc thrift store (Colorado chain) if I need to get something secondhand because they're non-religious (as far as I can tell) and their parent organization is dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities find work, decent living arrangements and other assistance if they need it. Their prices are also hella better than Goodwill.

I didn't have to do much digging around to find them (I live near one of their larger locations), but I've looked into a few other places near where I work, and a few of them have non-religious agendas and decent prices for the goods they offer. It takes a bit of time, but it's worth it.

I'll donate clothes and the like to them, but not cash and I won't shop there. JFC why can't you just help people instead of using their desperation as another way to hammer in preaching
