I have a ~5 inch scar on my thigh from a slip n'slide accident

To elaborate, it had happened after my sister spent a good hour begging me to use the slip n' slide with her. She even promised she would set it all up by herself and let me have the first turn and I eventually gave in, even though I didn't like slip n' sliding much. Unfortunately, when I went on it I felt this unholy pain in my thigh and started bleeding everywhere. It turns out that she somehow managed to leave the hammer (used to nail in the stakes) under the the slip n' slide and the end of it tore through the plastic when I slid over it.

She felt pretty terrible about it. It's been years, so to me it's just hilarious at this point but she still looks pretty guilty whenever I tease her about it

Oh my god that is somewhat hilarious and totally horrifying. The imagery of a slip in slide, all happy and wet and bright yellow, suddenly covered in red blood and screams. I don't know why it's funny, just in that so bizarre and horrible it's kind of funny way I guess.

haha, yeah it's pretty funny in hindsight. I always injure myself in the dumbest ways

I still feel uneasy whenever I see a slip n' slide though.

Board games should come with a warning. And not just the one about Monopoly being a homewrecking golden apple of discord.
