I personally get a little anxious when authors answer my feedback if I didn't ask a question or go on and on about something because then I want to thank them for thanking me. XD

I'm actually pretty relieved to see an author's note about appreciating feedback but not being able to reply to it all. And in my opinion, using that time to post more fic is the best way to thank your audience! :D

I have just now realized that your icon is not a clay shoe, like my brain had been previously been processing, but is instead a picture of a finger with and adorable little life form atop it.

tl;dr omg my brain has been farting for months.

Well it's better than the penis most people think is in my icon.

I, uh, am intensely curious as to how my icon looks like a clay shoe though. *squints*

I have a slight eye condition that can occasionally cause colors in far away/small images to bleed together/get switched around. So the upper right corner of the image (for some reason) made the finger look clay-colored, and my mind automatically assumed the greenish blob was some sort of plant.

Of course, this only happens when the image is in the periphery of my vision. Once I looked directly at your icon my brain was like "Waitaminute!" and now I can no longer see the once proud clay ronald-mcdonald-shoe-with-a-plant-in-it that I once could.

Ah. That makes sense. I wonder if you're going to see me in a different light now that I am no longer a clown shoe planter?

When I only glance at your icon in passing or see it out of the corner of my eye, my brain processes it as a piece of fruit -- like an apple or peach with a leaf still attached to the stem.
