I'll never forgive Lemony Snicket for that goddamn sugar bowl.

I will never forgive KA Applegate for the ending of Animorphs. ALL MY RAGE.

I will also never forgive whatever company dubbed Cardcaptor Sakura for not airing Cardcaptors correctly in the US. I don't even care about a lot of the censorship things, I had no idea it was censored when I was a kid - all I knew was that they kept referencing episodes I had never seen and, in fact, had never been aired.

Also, DC for how they're handling new 52.

Oh - and I will never, ever forgive anyone involved in the making of Love Never Dies. Andrew Lloyd Weber, you should be ashamed of yourself. Otto was on a mission from God, and you didn't listen.

Once I found out about the ending to Animorphs recently I was so glad it had been one of the series I dropped halfway through years before. Saved myself a lot of pain.

I had to quit K.A. Applegate after how she ended Animorphs and Everworld. I was not about to invest in Remnants just to get another tragic not-ending with zero closure. And I couldn't re-read after all these years, either, as awesome as the stuff before the endings was.

I've actually started rereading Animorphs for the first time since... god, 2001? I may not be able to forgive her for the ending, but reading them again feels just great. Think I let my anger over the ending cloud just how good the rest of it was.

Now, you know Nelvana had to appeal to young boys in order to make sales!

...Oh, I'm not even going to try. They really butchered an excellent show -- every time I see clips from the original CCS anime I'm struck by how much thought went into the animation and story design, and then I remember that I never got the chance to actually watch it the way it was meant to be watched. >:/ (Nelvana does get props for using the Greek form of Kero's name, though.)

I don't think they actually did though. IIRC they called him 'Keroberos' and the Greek is Kerberos. I may be misremembering the show though, I didn't want to watch the dub much.

I'll never forgive Nelvana for anything about Cardcaptors, but especially for how much they changed Tomoyo... or, "Madison." (And for making me detest the name Madison to the point that I get internally annoyed whenever I meet anyone with it. It's a very common girl name now but Cardcaptors was the first place I'd ever heard it used that way, so the association is stuck forever.)

I remember literally throwing the last Animorph book across the room when I first read it, but I did a re-read last year and actually found it kind of twistedly satisfying. Not great, and I have so much rage over the fate of the Auxiliaries, but the actually endings for the main six made sense to me.

Oh god, DC...Timmy, baby, what did they do to you. Dick is not a genius. Dinaaah. Cass is gone, Ted is gone, Steph is gone.

And now what they're going to do to Constantine! *headdesk*
