Apply. Part-time is better than no-time. I've ditched part-time jobs for better opportunities before, once on the second day of work. It's not great form, but honestly that's the way it goes and you have to look out for number one. It's irritating for them and probably don't count on asking them for any favors later, but part-time employers tend to have high turnover rates anyway for that very reason. Don't worry, you'll be glad you did it.
