And I have had it up to here with that attitude about it. Heck, the example you gave was being extremely polite but honest with people. They're not ransoming new chapters for reviews or anything stupid like that.

For all the time and effort put into writing for NO monentary reward whatsoever, asking people politely to comment is more than reasonable, and it motivates many writers more than you could imagine when they get even a single review.
