His cameo in that and his even tinier one in Dark Knight make me so inexplicably happy. I just like to think that Christopher Nolan calls him up all "Are you going to be in town anytime soon? Want to be in the movie for five minutes?"

really? I thought it was one of his weaker performances. Forgettable as a whole with a couple of wince moments thrown in

This is one of the few things I liked about the movie. That and who the main villian turned out to be.

My opinion of the rest of the movie was mixed at best, but those scenes were pure undistilled epicness and hilarity of the highest jumping-up-and-down-in-my-seat order and "Death, or exile?" and "Death...by exile!" is and will always be among my favorite movie quotes in the entire history of movies. *all the applause*

Me too, though it's because I find Cillian Murphy ludicrously attractive in that role. Most of the time when I see him I think "Oh, cool, there's a nice looking guy", but as Crane? GUHHHH

It was pretty damn hilarious and everyone in the theater seemed to love it. It surprised me too. It might've been a small scene, but it was memorable.

I loved his scene so much even though I saw the "Death...by exile," thing coming from a mile away. Such an old joke.

Agreed, OP. I wasn't a big fan of his character in the previous two movies, but he was wonderful here. Such a funny, but still slightly intimidating, Smug Snake.

This is embarrassing to admit, but I didn't get this scene. I knew I was supposed to recognize the guy, but I honestly didn't. Can someone explain?

I can understand that. Considering how little I liked about the film he was one of the few nice parts.

I squeed. (Quietly, but there was a crying baby at my viewing, so not too quietly).

Cillian Murphy's two minute scene made that movie so much better.

My feelings about that movie are lukewarm at best, but I love that scene.

*g* That part is the only reason why I'll buy the DVD anyway, despite not liking the movie. When it's somewhere cheap on sale, though.

This movie was fucking awful and his was one of the only good actor performances in it.

I always feel that in early draft, that would have been the Jokers role. It felt like it was just too unlikely for it to be Crane.

Cillian is so damn hot in that role that I'm always glad to see him.

I feel the same way about Inception!

I dunno, I'm super disappointed he didn't have a bag over his head. :C

...If anyone can find that meme from ye olde Inception/TDK fandom... I would forever love you.
