Unfortunately, TWD doesn't generate much discussion or wank here, so any trolling efforts are in vain.

Pretty much. But seriously...D: Watching everything he does and then sweet talking Andrea and the fact she chose HIM over her friend who took care of her for, what, 8 months? I'd listen to the person who actually looked out for my ass and KNOW than some strange man who seems too good to be true. DX

But, that seems to be Andrea's shtick.

Except she begged Michonne to stay, it was Michonne who forced her to choose

But Michonne was warning her. Or trying to. But Andrea was all "no no no more running i wanna stay with the nice man blah blah blah you're lying" with her. So basically, Andrea forced HER to make her give out the ultimatum.

Warning her based on what?

1. The blood and bullet-holes on the military vehicles the Woodbury team "salvaged."

2. The fact that the Governor seems fundamentally averse to answering questions.

3. The fact that there were captive zombies locked up in a cage inside the city walls, because regardless of how careful the Woodbury people were, that is a disaster waiting to happen.

4. The fact that Michonne actually has some modicum of ability to read people and tell when they're lying to her face.

Just to start.

The viewer knows that the Governor was selling her a line of crap about what happened to the National Guard caravan and how the Woodbury team came by the military vehicles. Michonne didn't believe a word of it. Ergo, she has a halfway decent bullshit detector.

They had neither arms nor lower jaws. Apparently, based on what Milton-the-scientist said (which struck me as BS writing, but I'm not the one doing the world-building for this series, so I take the writers at their word), once all their methods of attack are removed, the zombies turn docile. Removing only their teeth doesn't make them docile, or they'd be useless in the arena fights.

Zombie arena fights? Forget the troll-rating, whoever in that universe thought zombie arena fights was a good idea gets 0/10 and fails common sense forever.

And Dale! No teeth =/= safe.

That bothered me too. Eight months is a long time to spend with someone (alone, too), especially considering it's the zombie apocalypse, and Michonne had her back that entire time. Andrea knew she could trust her. The Gov is a wild card and from what it seems, she hadn't even known him for a week before she decided to stay. That's...not good decision making Andrea.

But I will say this, I can completely understand why Andrea would be swayed by cold drinks and showers and electricity, because those things are precious luxuries in her world.

Still...Michonne knew there was something fishy about him, and Andrea should've spent enough time with her by then to know her instincts generally tend to be right.

Well, as much as I see your point, I understand why Andrea chose what she chose. Relative safety and comfort and something closer to their previous normal versus starvation and constant fighting and likely a sooner death. Sure, Michonne is a badass, but she's tight lipped badass who just had a 'wrong feeling.' And she's only one person against a world of death around every corner. Maybe Andrea should've had a wrong feeling too when it was shown that Merle was the Gov's go-to guy, but there are a lot of jerkass people in their shitty world. Leaving a decent place just because of one known cockbag seems a little ridiculous. Andrea doesn't know the Gov is a psycho yet, and he offers her a better life than she's had in a year. I'd probably do exactly what she is doing if I'd survived as long as her.

She wasn't choosing between the new psycho guy and a long lasting friend. She was choosing safety and the promise of a better life in a world where such things are (almost) nonexistent over leaving because of a "wrong feeling" she didn't have herself. If Woodbury hadn't taken care of her, Andrea would have died of whatever sickness she had by now. Her choice is not surprising at all.

Just hopping in to agree with this 100%. I wonder if people would be half as harsh on Andrea if she didn't sleep with him. :| That romance subplot is turning this into a chicks before dicks situation when it's not that cut and dry at all.

I feel like Andrea is gonna become the new Lori where the fandom slut-shames her and hates on her constantly... Ugh. She's doing what she thinks is right for her and her safety without the benefit of the outside perspective the viewers have.
