Ugh, this is going to sound so stupid because it's Glee, but in the second episode when Will and Terri are looking at houses, there's the voiceover line that says something to the effect of, “My father always said you become a man when you buy your first house. I'm not sure what he meant by that, since he burned ours down once after a drunken fight with Mom.” I hated the character and now hate the show (it's become so freakin' terrible, my god), but that line stuck with me for some reason. And yes, I know it's supposed to be a bit of dark comedy there but it's still sad to me.
