I just like them as friends but if you want to ship it that's fine as long as you age her up a bit.

Heck, technically, neither of them are children, she just looks like one. A fic exploring the fact they love each other but have issues because of her visual age would be interesting as long as there isn't any sex in it.

Actually, the real robbing the cradle thing is Felix/Calhoun. He's thirty years old. She's a week. But I will admit to shipping that due to the fact she's mentally an adult despite her age.

Someone else made a good point: if you wanna ship it without worrying about the whole pedo deal, just age her up a bit! I see it as kind of a father-daughter relationship but if a different dynamic floats your boat, can we really judge?

Then age her up, no big d. But at the end of the day, they're goddamn cartoon characters. Everybody here is getting all specific, "oh they're in a video game, she could be a childish adult," which is all true, but missing the point.

I think the confusion stems from the fact that people are treating shipping/porn based on cartoons and art like shipping/porn based on flesh and blood actors. And they're really very different. For example, I like shota, but I'm a lesbian. In real life, there are insane fuckloads of physical differences between children and adults. In cartoons, most of the time the only real difference is height and eye size. In cartoons, age is an unclear concept, period.

Cartoons are not real life. Characters that are underage in whatever canon are not real, and in no way comparable to real children. People gotta cool their jets. Ship what you like, as long as it's just cartoons.
