You should like a good friend. I mean, friends never talk about rl issues and ask advice of each other or vent with each other or anything. Next time she wants to talk about things that are bothering her, tell her to shut the fuck up. Tell her you don't give a shit about anything but her rp. Seriously, though, it's hard to tell from the secret whether OP's friend is really being over the top or not. It's possible that she's being needy/clingy, and it's possible that OP is being whiny. Or both. Either way, I still feel bad for OP's friend, and hope OP will try to help them as they can. But you have to take care of yourself.

(I say this as someone who has been in both positions, but more often in the friend's. As in, I can be clingy/needy. It wasn't until recently that I had the maturity to really realize that =/ But again, that might not even be the case here.)

But... the OP was complaining about her friend constantly dumping on her about RP-related things. The idea that she only wants to here about her friend's RP-related stuff is the complete opposite of what OP was saying.
