Re: Lines that have become embedded in your vocabulary

"Well that's less than ideal" - Noah Bennet, Heroes, but bland enough and from long ago enough that no one knows I'm quoting anything.

I also get a lot from Casablanca - "poor, corrupt government official" is what I jokingly say is my career goal, I legitimately got to say "There are some parts of Mexico I don't advise invading" a couple of days ago, and "He's just like any other man, only more so" is one of my favorite not-quite-insult, not-quite-rave about people (or things if I want to paraphrase).

"I'm shocked - shocked! - to discover gambling is going on here" is a surprisingly useful one. as is "The problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world".

Also, a lot of lines from Maltese Falcon. "YOU BUNGLED IT! YOU AND YOUR STUPID ATTEMPT TO BUY IT! YOU IMBECILE! YOU STUPID FATHEAD!" (and really anything that Peter Lorre says) and "It's the stuff that dreams are made of."

such great movies.

Oh god, I can't believe I forgot "I'm shocked - shocked! - to discover gambling is going on in here!" That's probably the funniest moment in the movie. I'm sure I've used it too.
