all my fandoms non-con isn't shamed if it's labeled.

maybe you need to rethink if you're really being shamed or if you just feel weird about doing it because no one else is.

that said, considering all the heteronormativity in the world, why you'd want to straighten a gay character is beyond me but I seriously doubt you're suffering from the same degree of shame, ostracization and prejudice a gay person feels every day and maybe, just maybe, might want to have something of theirs that doesn't get 'fixed' like so many try to do in their real lifes.
