I really liked her in the comics. I'm liking her a little less in the show because she really didn't have a reason to go back and torture him. Yes, she suspected that he was a pretty shitty person, but as far as I remember, she had no solid proof other than a gut feeling. =/

I thought what she did in the comics was badass and awesome. I thought what she did in the show was a little bit petty.

One of the reasons the Governor threw Merle under the bus at the end of the episode was because he didn't succeed in killing Michonne and in leaving her alive, left her open to exact revenge over the attempted murder in the first place. I think attempted murder is an excellent reason to get revenge (buuuut I was still saying "MICHONNE STOP" when she separated from Rick and the group so). |D

Pretty much immediately after I posted the comment I was like "Oh yeah, except that he tried to get her killed. Maybe no one will notice."

Other than the fact that he tried to have her killed, I think part of the reason Michonne went back was to try and save Andrea. She knows that the Governor and Woodbury are a deathtrap and still cares (cared; I think Andrea blew it by pulling a gun on her) about Andrea.

She deduced pretty quickly from the fresh gunshots and blood on the tank after the Governor came back from meeting with the National Guard survival group, so

and the captive zombies, even for zombie arena ehhh not good you just never know, like the National Guard dude said in their group someone got bit and caused a panic and it turned into their whole refuge going to shit

Michonne had some proof, Andrea just didn't

care

enough

I wish the show had given Michonne a more selfish reason to go after the Governor. It's weird, but it's not really enough that he ordered men to go after her. I like my personal headcanon that she and Andrea were lovers in foxholes prior to Woodbury, and now that Andrea's with the Governor, Michonne decides to stick it to him for wooing her away with this rotten-on-the-inside-utopia.
