Dunno who this is or who the governor is, but if she killed the governor's DAUGHTER to hurt HIM, she's a bad person, (unless the daughter herself did something to deserve to die, but it doesn't sound like that). She's a person herself, not just something you use to hurt someone else.

Very little pisses me off more than someone hurting an innocent person just to get revenge on someone else.

Okay, I haven't seen the most recent season and I'm not super familiar with the comics but: isn't she a zombie? and didn't he have to feed her people to keep her "alive"? I'm okay with killing her.

When he said 'please don't hurt my little girl' I think Michonne got the idea. He was never gonna think she was no longer his daughter, never going to accept that his little girl couldn't be hurt any longer because his daughter was already dead.

So she forced him to face reality. True, it was done in true Michonne style (read: zero tact) but the guy was clearly delusional and (not having read the comics) most likely hurting other people trying to find a cure.

I am interested in what reasons Michonne would have to want to hurt the Governor/his daughter in the comics? Someone spoil me?

lol people who sympathize with the Governor in any way. he is a fucking horrible person, and isn't it implied in the comics that he sexually molests her? even as a zombie? that french kiss comes to mind.

that little girl didn't deserve to rot in a closet or be touched by her creep dad.

I dunno, the way I see it, a zombie is a zombie. It's dead already. This entire show has been about killing zombies. Heck, they even kill a little girl in the first episode. So to see this girl die was not surprising.

All Michonne has done since her first appearance is kick zombie ass. She was all for helping the girl when she thought she was alive, but the minute she realized the kid was a zombie, out comes the katana. She had planned to kill the girl before she even realized the attachment the governor had to her. *shrugs*

His daughter was already dead. She's a zombie and the Gov. is a creep so I'm siding with Michonne on this one. What reason is there to keep the zombie kid alive? She can't be helped.

The Governer is an evil guy in the show and the girl is a zombie, she is not alive, she is dead. Yeah, Michonne did nothing wrong. Would she kill the girl if she was not a zombie? Hell no.

OK, only read part of the comics, haven't seen the show, but woooooooow it sounds like they changed a lot in the show.

I think that the Governor deserves a little pity, but he's done some pretty terrible things, including killing non-zombies. Michonne killed a zombie. That's it.

And the show's made it pretty clear that when someone turns, there's no remnants of humanity left.

I'm glad the zombie daughter is gone but I hate how it turned out. I felt sorry for the Governor, too. It doesn't excuse the things he's done, but I do feel bad. The man was just *shattered* I think it will be interesting to see what comes about now that he has nothing to hope for.

I really liked her in the comics. I'm liking her a little less in the show because she really didn't have a reason to go back and torture him. Yes, she suspected that he was a pretty shitty person, but as far as I remember, she had no solid proof other than a gut feeling. =/

I thought what she did in the comics was badass and awesome. I thought what she did in the show was a little bit petty.

The girl was a ZOMBIE Maybe she did just kill her to fuck with him, but still. She was DEAD. She was ROTTING. It may have happened in a kind of dick way, but that girl needed to be put down.

Maybe because I got soiled on the comic ages back makes me a little biased, but....wasn't that whole scene with Michonne when she found that list of people...mainly women/girl names, kind of an indication that he may have been, well....a rapist/pedo? That's what I got from her horrified look and then her threatening him before she left.

Or am I remembering that wrong?

Either way, if that isn't teh case, he's still sick as fuck and I have no sympathy for him. His daughter is dead. Get the fuck over it and move on and actually LEAD people and not be a fucking creeper about it.

This kinda reminds me of that secret a while back that was all, "Bilbo was such a mean doo-doo head for cheating Gollum in the riddle game, bless Gollum's bad-ass and deeply sympathetic cotton socks."

The Governor is a terrible, terrible person. He kills people, he runs a dictatorship, he threatens to rape (and possibly actually rapes, I think that scene is ambiguous) people, he uses zombie!sport as a bread and circuses kind of social control. I saw his zombie!experimentation in a kinder light when I realized he was trying to find a way to save his zombie!daughter; as a parent, I totally have sympathy for him wanting to reclaim a lost child. However, he has gone beyond mourning for a child here. Zombie!Penny is dangerous, and she's never going to be anything but a zombie. She's dead and dangerous, and he doesn't even treat his dead zombie!daughter right. LOL He gets irrationally angry at her, you know, being a zombie with zombiefied behavior and shoves her roughly back into her little kennel. That moment made me wonder if he ever shoved her around like that when she was alive and he was disappointed in her.

Rock on, Michonne.

I just hope Andrea gets her head out of her ass and will be the one to kill the Governor.
