All zombies are threats. Have you never watched a zombie film?

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
How is a little girl zombie in a straightjacket a threat to anyone?

If there's something all zombie movies have taught me, is that there's no zombie more dangerous than a little girl zombie.

I would've killed her in sight, even if her dad was the nicest, most incredible guy in the planet.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
a zombie has a mouth. a zombie has rotting limbs that could easily make the straight jacket useless. a zombie has legs.

zombies will do anything and everything they can to try and get a bite. unless a zombie has no legs, no arms, no jaw, it is a threat. and even then you might as well kill it.

That zombie could still be suck with somthing and bleed on something else. Or be used by idiots to experiment,

The only really safe zombie is on that's burned to ash really. But that's a bit of a drain on reasources. But you can at least make sure it's not moving.

She has a mouth. She can bite. She might get out of the straighjacket.

But the simplest answer? SHE'S A ZOMBIE AND SHE'S STILL MOVING.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
You're reaching now. Most little girls with full capabilities would find it difficult to get themselves out of a straightjacket.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
She still has her teeth , doesn't she? She can still bite even in a straightjacket. Sure, the gov was careful, but how long would that have really lasted.

Besides, she's DEAD and she's not in there anymore. I don't care if she was listening to music while he brushed her damn hair.

She's dead.
She's rotting.
SHE IS A ZOMBIE.

That is not reaching, that's just fact.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
YOU'RE reaching. What are you, the President of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Zombies? Good luck with that.

Say what?

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Most living little girls would get bored, tired, or quit struggling out of discomfort long before making any headway towards getting free. Zombies experience none of those problems.

You wouldn't keep a rabid dog in your home, even if it was muzzled and chained, don't pretend that a zombie girl (who Michonne had originally thought was alive and was trying to rescue) is not a dangerous thing to have around. It was only a matter of time before the governor got scratched or bit by her. Hell, he's crazier than an outhouse rat, he may have already been.

Killing the girl was less 'revenge' than it was 'do something unexpected to give myself an advantage in this fight, since the kid's already dead'.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
You're reaching. She's not a little girl. No one who turns is a little girl, boy, baby, mum, dad, sister, friend or whatever-they're a creature that would happily munch on your face given half a chance. All it would take was him to get drunk and allow her the chance to escape, or have a cold and be not with it. or anything really. It's a security risk and potential death for any and everyone.

That's not to say i don't think she enjoyed doing it, she may well have, but acting like that zombie is a 'poor little child' that hurt or could hurt no one is reaching, fucked up and tells me that if ever there was a 'zombie anything' you'd be first in line for being munched on.

Doesn't look like she was gagged. She could bite.

Besides, keeping a sufferer of an unknown disease out of quarantine is dangerous to absolutely everyone.

Besides, keeping a sufferer of an unknown disease out of quarantine is dangerous to absolutely everyone.

Given how EVERYONE suffers from said disease...

[personal profile] oroburos69 2012-12-11 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. Do they know that for sure? Sounds grim.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
It was confirmed at the end of season 2 that everyone is a carrier and will turn as soon as they die, regardless of how they die, unless they were shot in the head.

So being bitten by a zombie will only turn you into a zombie if the bite kills you.

[personal profile] oroburos69 2012-12-11 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
So...the kid is already dead?

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
DA: Oh, you found the flaw in the OP's logic! Yes, the little girl is dead, AND rotting, AND trying to bite.
oroburos69: (Default)

[personal profile] oroburos69 2012-12-11 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
I...I'd kill that too? Pretty much on principle.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
DA

The bite always kills. The only way it doesn't is if it's in an area that can be amputated. So yes, everyone is still infected, but until they die they aren't in any of the danger that a moving, active zombie is capable of.

A zombie that looks like a child is even more dangerous than the adult version since it's human nature to be protective of a child. Michonne herself nearly got bit when she saw Penny. She assumed the Governor was keeping a living little girl and was definitely in the danger zone when she took that hood off.

Just like anyone else who came across her.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. In TWD, everyone will become a zombie after they die, no matter what they die of. They give it the sci-fi "infection" spin but it's still very classic NotLD rules: Non-lethal bites give you sepsis and fever and you die after a few hours, otherwise anything from heart attack to broken neck to dystentery, you still get up again after you croak, unless someone cuts you up into itty bitty pieces first.
