Slightly OT, but I can't stand several dialects of my own language, especially those that are furthest away from my own. I guess it's mostly annoyance at not or barely understanding something in my own language, which is kind of humiliating.

I don't have that problem in my non-native languages like English. There are accents I like more than others, but even if I pretty much can't understand anything in a certain accent, I mostly find that amusing.

Same here. It's embarrassing to watch the news and realize I have no idea what some people are saying even when it's my own language.
