I'm always suspicious of anyone who get's "shamed" for not writing slash, like people are going to randomly come to your tumblr and say, by the way, why haven't you written slash, you horrible person! Don't you know there is a two slash minimum before you can enter fandom?

Either you are taking other people's shipping preferences personally (which is dumb) or you are being a dick about how much you dislike slash (which is also dumb.)

"Don't you know there is a two slash minimum before you can enter fandom?"

LOL I love it!

The same thing happens to slashers though. It's even worse, I get the MISOGYNY and SEXIST comments a lot for not writing het.

Pretty much. I've had a fandom stalker tell me that I'm heterophobic and sexist because I didn't want to write about their ship. I write femslash of all things.

I file this kind of thing under "People are overdramatic assholes" and don't take it very seriously. I will write what I damn well want to write -- not what some overentitled reader or fandom police officer thinks I aught to write.

But I think if you accept any batshit crazy fan's opinion as a serious blow to your feelings, then you are over-reacting as badly the person who "shamed" you. At some point, you just have to sit back, point, and laugh, because it's the only sane response.
