if it weren't for the hordes of preteen fangirls, i don't think that his haters would even exist. yeah he's going to behave like an obnoxious teenager and yeah he's going to fall prey to the pitfalls of stardom harder than those who are more experienced, but the kid works hard and has genuine talent.

He looks just like the boys I see at my local mall every time I go there. Cuter perhaps, but I'm not the best judge of that age group. Nothing I've seen or heard about him warrants even half of the hate I've seen towards him. He's young and talented and hard-working, just as you say. I don't understand what problem people have with him except maybe the parents of some of his more enthusiastic fans because I can understand them getting real sick of the kid real fast, but that's not who I see spreading the hate.
