Re: Capacity for Anger
(Anonymous) 2012-12-11 07:41 am (UTC)(link)I also used to go for a run and that helped a lot. I didn't think of it straight away because I can't run anymore and these days physical activity is something other people do and it has nothing to do with me. But if running isn't your thing, maybe just a walk would help? The exercise and the alone time were really cathartic.
And I could kick any rocks or tree trunks that were just begging for it since I couldn't do that to my family.Re: Capacity for Anger
(Anonymous) 2012-12-12 01:30 am (UTC)(link)If it is bad enough that you're worried you'll take it out on your own flesh and blood, anon, then I hate to tell you this, but it's likely that you will (or that you are already, in other ways, and you just don't recognize it).
You know you have a problem, so all respect to you for acknowledging that, but the fact that you're still kicking rocks and trees is Not A Good Sign. Might I suggest (and you're free to tell me where to go for telling you this anonymously on Fandom!Secrets), that you look for something that will alleviate even the need to kick rocks and trees? Because that is not healthy either and it really does still pose a risk for your family.
