It appears that you're a straight person who does not understand that the practice of pairing up the few canonically homosexual characters that exist in heterosexual relationships is an example of erasing homosexuality, which is already all too common a practice! Perhaps you would like to:

-Hear about how this contributes to a climate in which homosexuality is ignored by the media, or turned into something that can be "corrected"
-Hear about examples of heterosexuality being forced on homosexuals in a misguided attempt to 'fix' them and how doing this in fiction may be insensitive or upsetting
-Reconsider your stance
-Talk to a homosexual about how they feel about seeing homosexual characters put into heterosexual situations
-Consider how few homosexual characters actually exist in fiction in comparison to heterosexual characters
