If we're talking about Steve during that scene in Avengers, he kind of looked like he was about to cry the entire time for some weird reason. It was sort of endearing, but not what I'd call sexy.

In any case, I don't see guns as the primary weapon of either of them. Steve's weapon is a shield and it's one of my favorite things about him, that his weapon is basically an offensive piece. And Tony, as we know, has issues with weapons.

No, that makes total sense. I wasn't meaning to imply that Steve weeps whenever he's handling a gun or something (that's certainly not the case- he's a soldier), just that the scene in the film with it wasn't really played as sexy so people are not as likely to walk away from it going "ooh gun kink."

I thought it was pretty clear they were enemies of SHIELD and not brainwashed minions? Only Selvig and Barton were confirmed as brainwashed/controlled by the scepter.
