:/ You say that you didn't mean to make such broad generalizations, and then you continue to do so. You're making it sound like yaoi fans can do no wrong and het fans are completely evil and disruptive.

You know what? I've had yaoi "fanbrats" tell me that by shipping a particular het pairing(not even loudly), I'm rejecting the entire fandom. Because they were that convinced that their yaoi pairing was (or, rather should be) canon.

However, that was a small group of people, and I don't hold that example up as the "real face" of yaoi fans. It was just an unpleasant experience.

You'll find that most people aren't so easily generalized. Most people aren't just "het fans" or "yaoi fans" or "yuri fans"; they like a little bit of everything.

tl;dr: I'm sorry you've had a bad experience, but don't group everyone together like that. That's not fair.
