Maybe "Nick Fury" is a legacy name given to the guy who's running S.H.I.E.L.D. at any given moment. That way, Hasselhoff could have some strange cameo where he tries to be buddy-buddy with Samuel L. Jackson and talk about running S.H.I.E.L.D. during the Cold War until SLJ says, "Get the fuck outta my office, motherfucker!!!" And Tony Stark/Cap/Thor/Natasha/Clint/Hulk (or all of them) punches Hasselhoff!Fury in the face.

"Nick Fury" is too cool a name to be given to mere mortals. BUT please keep the Hoff away from things I like!

... umm, given his age, why can't he keep it? No, really. I'd like to know why we'd have to make him white first. Besides, 616(white)!Fury was black ops military too so... really, I don't see how the backstory isn't transferable. :\
