I'm kind of turned on. Should I be turned on?

Unf. Judge me harder.

I didn't cry, but I have no soul. Sorry.

I haven't seen Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I noticed this in the HP movies. In the first couple, I think she was the strongest of the kid actors, but as time went on you could see them improving drastically, while she stayed at the same level. In the final movies it becomes especially obvious. She still feels kind of amateurish compared to her costars.

I haven't seen the later movies. Did she ever learn to emote properly?

I agree completely and I've been saying it for years

Daniel Radcliffe is also not a great actor but Emma Watson is just the worst and it plays a really large role in why the later movies are mostly not so good

(Anonymous) 2013-01-06 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope, OP, you are totally right. Emma Watson sucks and does most of her acting with her eyebrows.

oh god, I hate these kinds of secrets. NO, OP, you're not a monster. Different people respond to things differently.

Re: tb2

(Anonymous) 2013-01-06 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
ALSO, the movie is a bad adaptation in my opinion, so that's not to say OP couldn't find emotional connection to one of the other adaptations/the book/whatever.

Crying at fiction is no indication of soul or lack thereof. That being said, I'll admit I got a little misty eyed at the end.

Re: tb2

To be fair, people say that nonsense all the time. If you don't cry at this, you -are made of stone; -have ice in your veins; -have no soul; -aren't human; etc.

I'm a person who feels things extremely deeply but can vividly remember each of the 13 times in my 29 years I've actually cried and it's always been at fairly trivial shit. I've been hearing the above sentiment since I was a little kid (and for everyone's information, it's pretty damn hurtful). So I don't blame the OP for internalizing it.

I agree. But I've seen her mainly in the HP movies, and I must say I thought most of the actors there sucked (especially those of the students).

This is the background picture of a secret that didn't get made? I don't think it's a virus because it's a png image file and it's hosted on photobucket. You should be fine.

I find fandoms judgyness to be rather tiresome and emotionally exhausting.

Haven't seen it but I didn't cry at Titanic while everyone around me was tearing up. I think the hype killed the mood for me. I've cried at plenty of other movies/books/media, though.

(Anonymous) 2013-01-07 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
O bby~ Come here and judge me a little harder~

tb2: Naw, just that it effected you in a different way [or to a different degree] than it did the people crying. Nothing wrong with that.
