Oh, man, I love so many episodes of The X-Files.

I agree with Paper Hearts.

But I also love love love Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose and Jose Chung's From Outer Space, and Irresistible, and Pusher (ohhhh, Pusher), and Wetwired, and Small Potatoes, and Christmas Carol, and Triangle, and Dreamland I and II, and The Unnatural, and X-Cops(!!!!), and First Person Shooter, and Humbug, and....

Yeah. I really love The X-Files.

Ohhhh Dreamland I and II!!! Those episodes were some of the hardest I've ever squeed.

I love the X-Files so much too, and I think one of the biggest reasons I love it is just how many near-perfect brilliant episodes it had.

This. The series overall had its low points, cringe worthy episodes, and things that made me roll my eyes but so many of the episodes were just so wonderful from start to finish that those low points don't have any effect on how much I love the show

I agree completely. It was a series that could change so much from episode to episode, and do so many different things, that even when there was a bad episode or two, it could pick up the next week and be completely fine. And there's just so many episodes that are just great.

"That really is you in there, Mulder?" Just about broke my heart.

I watch The X-Files at least two times a year (it's about time to start up a new marathon, in fact!), just because I love the series so very much.

I agree, The X-Files pretty much set the high bar. :D
