OP here: The secret says 'Huskies who look like this', not 'huskies'. It's about the facial markings, not the breed. If I'd used an adult with that bandit mask it might have been easier to spot. Who could be mad and little puppy wuppy, even if he does have The Face.

Those two and Balto are maybe the only sled team movies any sizable number of people have even heard of. Let's examine. In Balto, okay, Steele is the villain, and in Eight Below Max was mischievous but also the eventual leader and clearly a hero, and hell who even cares about Snow Dogs that movie was ten kinds of shit. Not seeing this horrible stereotyping tradition you're on about, sorry.

I've seen crazy dog movie people all over DeviantArt before, but I've never seen one try to act like their dog movies are a big deal to anybody outside the group before.

You honestly should have clearly said bandit mask or indicated the markings were what you meant rather than just saying "this face", since most people who aren't that familiar with dogs won't pick that up. This is such a weird ass thing to get bent out of shape over, anyway. It's not like the mass media is demonizing huskies with those particular markings on a large scale the way they do entire other breeds.

OP is overreacting a bit in some of the comments on this part of the thread but I've only ever seen one sled dog movie (that I remember) and I picked it out right away...so maybe they should have indicated it but I can see why it didn't occur to them

That...was not very clear. Instead of "who look like this" you could have actually said "bandit face" or whatever you were going for.

As it is I just thought you were talking about adorable huskies being troublemakers which, as the owner of several huskies I gotta tell you, pretty spot on depiction.
