Can I just say how much I regret my username? There are a few secrets I'd like to submit about W40k but seriously I think I'd get called out in the first comment - and no real point in posting if I'm not anon.
It doesn't seem to be a super popular fandom around these parts either, I can't exactly point fingers at others (like I could if my nick was say, pinky pie or some shit).

Or maybe nobody had an idea about my username and now I blew it all, haha.

well now you can't. a lot of people probably wouldn't have even understand the reference (I barely know what w40k is let alone what world eating has to do with it). you could have submitted the secrets and then commented under your username fake-disagreeing with them in order to throw off the trail

Eh, that's why I didn't say everyone would know who I was, but that I would get called out. I would feel too embarassed I think, so that's why I felt no harm in posting about it here, I wouldn't have found the guts to make the secrets anyway %D

For the record, Transmetropolitan secrets tend to get associated with me. Also anything bashing Planescape Torment, but my hatred for that game isn't exactly a secret.

Also, hey, hey, I like 40k. :)

It's a load of pretentious overwrought self-indulgent wash too wrapped up in its CREEPYCOOLDARK fantasy freakshow setting and its own breathless obsession with detail to be anything actually well written, with truly excruciating gameplay mechanics that suck out any remaining fun the game might've had. Quite possibly one of the worst games I've played.

And before anyone jumps on me for being a "console kiddie" or "only playing new games" or whatever the elitists want to trot out -- I've been playing PC games for 20 years. I've played several cRPGs, most of the big-name FPS games of the late 90s/early 00s, Deus Ex was my favourite game for 10 years, Fallout 1 is the last word in RPGs for me, I celebrate the anniversary of Doom's shareware release every year, I HAVE OLD-SCHOOL CRED YOU BASTARDS, PLANESCAPE IS TERRIBLE, DEAL WITH IT.

Cool, cool. Just seems to generally be well-regarded, so I was interested to hear your take.

And did you ever get called out on a secret that was really you? Just curious, because I'd be so embarassed if any of my secrets ever got found out... I'm a whimp. That's why I'm called world eater, obviously *snort*.

No, but then again I used to make some really insane troll secrets for laughs. Not gonna say which ones. :)

And hell yeah, 40k. I don't play the tabletop game and I'm terrible at RTS games, but I love the books.

Welp...I have to agree with anon, I wouldn't have associated those secrets with you.

But there's always the chance that I'll forget by the time you make them! You should submit anyway.

Haha, tbh I feel you. There are plenty of fandoms I would love to submit secrets about but that I feel people would associate with me. I need some new, secret fandoms...

I feel like a stalker now but actually I was just checking if you were really into Halo so I could say something along the lines of "I'll make a Halo secret or two to give you cover".

That I do. I should probably delete those, but it wouldn't be much help considering the amount of fandoms represented in my icons. And I love them too much to delete them. :(

Haha, while not necessary, thank you for suggesting such a thing. I don't know WarHammer so unfortunately I couldn't reciprocate, nor do I have Halo secrets in the first place. (Besides 'omg this game made me cry, f u', which isn't really a secret...)

Now that you mention WH40k, I recognize the reference, but until you did, I was reading it as a reference to Galactus and the like.

But now I'm tempted to post the WH40k secret I've been considering just to make people think it was you.

Same here. Almost everyone here recognizes me as the "Touhou-Homestuck" guy from my username alone and thinks that all the recent Touhou secrets are mine (No. Most of them are).

That, and the fact that I made my username when I have no clue what Dreamwidth is all about (I basically followed F!S to Dreamwidth) made me hate my username for a few months. Now, I've kinda made peace with the whole thing and wondered why the heck was I so miffed about it before.

I have no memory of you nor any knowledge of what your username means beyond the face value eater of worlds sentiment -- for which my head immediately goes to Pennywise the Dancing Clown (you're welcome for that memory, everyone) -- so I would not know that it was by you.

Oh god, now I totally want to start a new DW using a Pennywise icon, but already have, like, 4 accounts. A fifth would just be madness.
