(Anonymous) 2013-01-20 01:33 am (UTC)(link)This exactly. If you see two people fighting over a third, the first thought shouldn't "but they could all hold hands?" Because that's not the way it works outside of fandom. Animosity is actually a thing that does not lead to sex most of the time.
