I only watch the show occasionally but totally love Sweets. I was so surprised when my friend told me that most of fandom hates him. Poor Sweets.

I adore Sweets! I had a dance class with a guy who looked like a teenaged Sweets, and it just made my dance class even more awesome then it already was.

I used to like him, until I heard that he was originally meant to be the serial killer. (Or serial killer's dupe? I wasn't watching regularly when all that went down.)

Now I resent him, and he sort of creeps me out.

I did stop watching Bones. But Sweets is a sweetie.

I don't care if that's considered doing it wrong, but I think that's genuinely awesome!

(Although personally I'm more interested in the Cam/Arastoo at this point, but I think there are even fewer people on board with that.)

This season is sooooo much better than last. Not quite back to the first three seasons, but a long way in that direction. And a lot of that reason is the fact that they've cut way down on the domestic filler (which they are frankly shitty at writing) and have gone back to being about the cases again.

I really like Sweets, he's one of my favorite characters, but I really rather that they cut out the domestic stuff and keep his interactions to the office. I'm still rather bitter about them breaking up with Daisy the way they did. It was shitty, stupid, douchey and unbelievable. And the reasons for keeping him in the house with Booth and Brennen really don't make a lot of sense. He's lived alone before and he's not apparently that hung up over dumping Daisy. There was no reason for him not to keep his old apartment and no reason for Booth and Brennen to want him invading their privacy at home.
