This season is sooooo much better than last. Not quite back to the first three seasons, but a long way in that direction. And a lot of that reason is the fact that they've cut way down on the domestic filler (which they are frankly shitty at writing) and have gone back to being about the cases again.

I really like Sweets, he's one of my favorite characters, but I really rather that they cut out the domestic stuff and keep his interactions to the office. I'm still rather bitter about them breaking up with Daisy the way they did. It was shitty, stupid, douchey and unbelievable. And the reasons for keeping him in the house with Booth and Brennen really don't make a lot of sense. He's lived alone before and he's not apparently that hung up over dumping Daisy. There was no reason for him not to keep his old apartment and no reason for Booth and Brennen to want him invading their privacy at home.
