I made this account (mostly) because of a joke between cloud_riven, anonymouslyyours and I. It's easier to keep in touch with people here by having an account.

Maybe, maybe not. You might be surprised.

Icons are fun. They can add extra meaning to comments, or they can be comments by themselves.

(cloud_riven and anonymouslyyours have been lost to Real Life. They still drop by once in a while but I miss summer months when we stayed up late and had gif reply parties. Not that I'm here often myself these days either...)

Yo, I only de-anoned because I decided that I don't really care enough about anonymity to NOT have an account. (also I liked the idea of being one of The Regulars)

The main benefit is that others remember you enough to kind of know already what kind of comments you make. This leads to less awkward sarcasm-misfiring on my part, for sure. And even if you don't PLAN on making friends, peeps will totally remember you after a while and you get to be part of a group, which is awesome.
