I'm just insecure and like the idea of each comment being evaluated by itself without any preconceptions about how socially inept I am.

That's an excellent reason to go anon, and I used to feel that way myself. The only real reason I caved and got an account is because I knew I would be commenting here a lot, and it's nice getting emails about replies. (I hate having to check for them, and often forget to.)

Also, icons. I just want all the icons ever.

Aww, thank you! I just really, really like icons okay? To be frank, it's an unhealthy love.

I do! I want like five more (I have a Chin + shotgun one waiting, and want one of Kono, too) but I never want to delete any. When you've got 250 icons and don't want to delete any you have a problem.

You have an obsession dear! And how can you even remember all your icons? I got 6, and I barely remember to use any of 'em. Off course I mostly use my default userpic for most stuff, but I wish I could be arsed to actually upload some of the 1000 of icons I got on my computer.

But don't stop using the pretty Icons, I like the pretty icons. They make me smile!

I pretty much just go down the list. Once I read the name I generally know what they are, and I do often go, "Oh, that ___ icon would make a great reaction icon". And I often try to match the icon to the secret, if I have something relevant.

Using your default userpic is probably best tbh, because I've seen people say they have a hard time remembering people who use different icons. (I sometimes wonder if anyone knows who I am because of that, lol.)

Yeah you do have clearly labelled userpics.

Yeah, I can barely remember whom you are at times to be honest (but that is true for most of the users). And I thought up until 10 seconds ago that your username was eliminator*...

*Or is there a user with that username? Damn I am confused now.

Eh, it's kind of my own fault. A lot of people associate users with their icons and if I weren't constantly changing them it would make me more memorable.

An anon said that one day, too. A lot of people probably read it that way and I can't really blame them. The brain tends to fill out things pretty quickly. (I read noodles' name wrong all the time.)

Actually someone else linked to that story, because apparently my name made an anon think of poop. So somehow that lead to someone else linking to that Glee fic.

Okay, here is what happened. Anonymouslyyours linked us all to that glorious story in GC and since I got on the bandwagon late, I just left an anonymous message instead of logging in and went my merry way.

A day (or two?) later, an Anon said something along the lines of "Oops I thought Elam was Elim" and "eliminating = pooping" and I said something like, "lol you guys are reminding me of that glee assworm fic Anonymouslyyours linked us the other day" and Bio said "OMG GLEE AY YOU'VE BEEN HOLDING OUT ON ME :<" and when Fingals saw Bio's message, she linked Bio to the story. Cue traumatized Bio and Elam, lolling Fingals and me.

Yeah, the new semester just started, and already my time is GONE. I usually read the secrets, but mostly haven't really had the time/energy to actually engage in conversation. So I'll probably be kind of MIA for a while, until I really settle into my new schedule. Sorry if you've been worrying! :)

Work is sloooooow right now, since the holidays are over. But that's ok, because it gives me time to focus on school. My classes are way hard right now, but mostly fun (with the exception of one mildly psycho professor) and I'm enjoying them!

Don't worry about me! If something actually bad happened, I would probably post something in GC to let people know. When I don't post much, it's usually just that I'm obscenely busy. :/
