When I first started having sex at 17, I preferred to shave it all off. I liked it being smooth and thought it was cleaner and looked better. My partner felt the same way.

Now that I'm 24 (with the same partner), I very much prefer it just being well trimmed and maybe a little touch-up around the clitoris area. My partner also prefers me to trim instead of shave. We find pubic hair much sexier now, not really sure why.

Maybe ingrown hairs and stubble got old after a while? Maybe I subconsciously feel gross when looking prepubescent? Idk.
