A lot of the fics with her do end up pushing her into Mary Sue and/or Self-Insert territory, but the ones that don't are fantastic. Definitely one of my fave characters. ♥

Aside from the mountain of self-insert via Darcy/Mary Sue fic where Author-as-Darcy bangs everyone the author is attracted to and melts hearts of ice... sure, I can see that.

PS if anyone can point me in the direction of GOOD Darcy fic that isn't like the above description, I will be eternally grateful.
