Hehehehe. I've never played The Old Republic, but every time I play Knights of the Old Republic, no matter how good or bad my character is, I always tell that one waitress "Your order's up, Sister! *kaboom*"

You roll up a dark side character just to do that to the woman in the Black Vulkar base?

I do the same to her every time when I play my favorite DS Revan, but I know that's a totally asshole thing to do. It's IC for the character I'm playing, yet I don't take special joy in playing that particular part.

What the OP is talking about are people who enjoy mistreating Vette and will go dark side just to do that. It's pretty popular, I hear.

I just think that line is so deliciously cheesy I can't NOT take that action, regardless of whether I'm Light or Dark Revan. (Unless, sometimes, if Carth is with me. I have a hard time doing bad things in front of Carth.)

There's a lot of great lines in that game, and it is fun to play dark side because of that. The waitress isn't so bad, because Carth intervenes and lets her escape. But there's that poor single mom on Tatooine trying to sell the wraith plate. I kind of cringe when I screw her over- but have Canderious and HK-47 with you and they have some choice lines.

I know, Carth has that effect, doesn't he?

Hey, I was really late to getting an Xbox 360, and have only ever played KOTOR on the old Xbox. I seem to remember hearing rumors that, while it *can* be played on the 360, it's kind of buggy. Do you know if there's any truth to that?

(Also, I've never gotten through KOTOR II. Is there any point to that, since all accounts say it ends pretty shittily and clearly there will be no KOTOR III?)

I heard that there is some kind of download and burn-to a CD KOTOR for 360, but it's buggy as hell so I never bothered. The PC version was really buggy, too, but there was a new K1 and K2 bundle release last year which supposedly adapts it to Vista and Win 7. I haven't played it yet, though.

Kotor II is interesting. It depressed the hell out of me the first time I played it. I have my own ideas of what happens with Revan, etc, I didn't like the retcon from KII. But I did later get into it because of the concepts, the gear, and the new characters. I don't play the ending, because the ending, imo, really sucks.

Unless someone really changes their mind, there isn't going to be a K3. K3 was nixed in favor of TOR and it's been a big controversy.
