Eliza Dushku also starred in the short-lived Tru Calling. It was really light viewing, where as a rookie city morgue worker named Tru, she finds the occasional fresh corpse will ask for help, wherein she relives the last day in order to prevent their death. She generally tries to make other things go better or smoother through her rewinds, too, like giving better advice to a neighbor or co-worker. No one but her remembers the way things went originally on "rewind days" until the character Jack shows up, who also rewinds, but decides each time to ensure the person dies through the circumstances they did initially rather than mess with fate. They clash, and it's also mentioned that Tru's parents both had the same abilities (her mom always believing they should save the person, her dad eventually(?) believing they should ensure the person's death... been a while since I've seen this.). Jack isn't above manipulating Tru's family and friends to interfere with her, and Tru's dad iirc isn't above quicker disposal of the people who died.

Skyfall. Spoilers, I guess: Bond and main villain Silva are both skillful and capable spies who have felt betrayed by M and M16 to the point of abandonment, but can't entirely cut their nearly filial ties with M. Silva decides a good ol' extensively-planned, well-armed, mercenary-fueled rampage with tons of collateral damage, whatever incidental mindgames he can manage, and the ultimate goal of killing M to a celebratory soundtrack is the way to go. Otoh, Bond opts for mere slight unsteadiness, and decides to protect M, reinstate himself in M16, and figure out how to Home Alone an abandoned country estate in a day with, essentially, two senior citizens and some dogs, since he spent his lone wolf time just chillaxing rather than amassing a huge personal fortune for vengeance.

Also: Star Trek Next Generation: androids Data and Lore, where Data uses his superhuman strength and intelligence to investigate and understand when Lore uses it to manipulate and gain power. And Battle Angel Alita (aka Gunm): Alita and her many brain copies, all with her fighting abilities and love of combat, though most unfortunately lack her empathy and drive for independence. (The few that don't feel more like alternate-but-not-necessarily-evil paths.)
