That's quite repulsive and dehumanizing. You've decided to like a huge swathe of fictional characters solely because of their gender instead of judging them by their personalities and actions and viewing them as actual people.

That's even grosser than disliking all female characters, because you have an extra layer of nastiness by also being convinced that you're doing something good.

They're not actual people to begin with, they're characters (see also: the comments above pointing out that while Umbridge would have been an absolutely horible person in real life, she can still be a fun character).

I agree with the basic point that it's silly to like all the female characters, but what an overreaction there as well.

When did OP say they were doing something good? If anything they're ashamed of it, and that's why it's a secret.

The point is that you wouldn't know either way, since OP doesn't clarify on any details. I'd rather side with anon.

Not every "secret" posted in this community is actually a secret though. I find a lot of times people just want a discussion.

I wish I had the intellectual capacity to voice my thoughts this way and so quickly.

You know, you've put into words rather perfectly my thoughts about how certain SJWs fawn over female, POC characters or other minority characters, as if they're better only because of what made them a minority. It always makes me uncomfortable because their love doesn't read as genuine to me, but like they're doing it only to feel morally superior, even if they claim they don't want "asspats"

Although, I bet OP's trolling, in this case.
