Okay, I know female characters get a lot of shit from slash fangirls or people that are way more judgmental on female characters than they are male characters... but I can't help but role my eyes at the people who love any female character just because they are female for the sake of fighting the power! (or whatever)

Why can't people just like a female character because she's a good character?

It's kind of ridiculous how a female character who is in the background and has no plot significance (or even any lines) gets treated like a precious bby for no reason other than that she's female.

It's okay to have standards and preferences in your favorite characters. Contrary to some people in fandoms belief, you don't have to worship everything a female character does or else be labeled a misogynist. Not every female character is a good one, or likable one.

The people who say they like all female characters sounds like they are trying to prove something to everyone else. Personally, I think it's more harmful to coddle every female character as shining example of awesomeness. Character is something that is built.
