The 11 Poster, hiding in a comment

The thing is, I left out a lot that I don't mind people ranting about. Schoolwork, interesting things that happened to them during the day/week/month, introspects, actual diagnosed health problems and their dealing with it, pets, sports, other fandoms I'm not in because I like learning about new fandoms through other people, etc. I don't mind the emo-family/friend/life unless they do it very often, which then turns my friend's list into a list of complaints, which I know is a rather petty and uncaring reason. I'm kind of amused at reading the comments and having people jump on it and not picking up the things I left out.

I just wish that there was a friending meme that would, well, mean that there'd be "friends" (in so much as one can become friends online) and not the "whiny, brain-dead, 15-year-old attitude" as you said. People want to write on their LJ as they will; fine, but I also want to read stuff on my f-list as I will. One does not enter a friending meme expecting things they hate on their f-list, but rather, as you said, "a flist that I am interested in." Sadly, I am not interested in someone's emo every four days, and I am sorry for that, since apparently I have a stone granite heart.
