This is a pretty common sentiment. Especially since most of these kind of relationships are obviously consisting of people who are generally written as emotionally stunted. It seems hard to imagine them in a regular relationship.

It's also weird to see characters you've known for awhile make transitions. They rarely happen as smoothly and realistically as they do in real life, so it feels like a sudden change. The wild adventurer and spunky princess suddenly want to settle down and have babies? It all happens so suddenly.
