Forced the new and awfully clunky posting page on everyone, no opt-out possible anymore. Still waiting for them to force the new tumblr-like friends-"feed".
(Also, the defaut comments pages they force on basic users is broken for older browsers: if you can't upgrade, you have to convince your friends and communities to pay up or bow to dubious advertising, of be entirely left out of discussions. Even conversations in your own journal if you're basic yourself!)

Is that why they finally pushed the new posting style onto me without the option to revert back? Sigh, it was annoying to have to scroll through a long text post because the textbox doesn't have a scroll.

I wish DW could devise a way to cross-post for communities so I wouldn't have to use LJ at all anymore!

iirc cross-posting for comms weren't implemented because of permission problems

communities are not journals so dw can't really "post on behalf of someone else" in a community

also, some communities moderated so if your post goes through on the dw side the mod for the lj community has to approve it too and there is no way for dw to guarantee cross-posting in that kind of situation

Ah well. Of course it makes sense...

(I'm still waiting anxiously for LJ to throw a fit and block x-posts from DW as spam and/or hacking.)
