Re: So I saw the first episode of Game of Thrones...

I-it is rather slow-paced. I do think the action it ramps up to is worth the build-up, but yeah, if you don't know how interesting it's going to get, the first few episodes feel a little exposition-y. On the other hand, if you try to watch it broken up, you might lose your place with the political intrigue, which is confusing enough if you're sitting through a marathon the first time xD;;

IDK what to tell you. I like the TV series, but it's definitely not for everyone.
