I think before people can stop doing it, though, Disney needs to stop doing it. They've erected Disney Princesses as the be all, end all of great female characters. If you're not in the princess club, you're not great because you're not going to get the same level of marketing. People are just as affected by what they see Disney marketing as Disney is by their customer's purchasing habits. It's a vicious cycle, really.
