LOST: In the end John Locke didn't matter and he was loser and Ben Linus never really had a plan he was just a weasel.

(So much wasted potential with those two. Ruined the entire show for me what the writers did to them.)

Oh yeah, Lost. I guess you could count everything about the ending. It's not so much that I hated the ending itself, but that it was so insufficient at wrapping up questions and storylines, and that it really wasn't thematically appropriate or finished character arcs.

"We have a plan" indeed...

Yeah, I agree about the ending. I mean, I liked the emotional payoff, and it was nice seeing everyone get a happy ending, but I was disappointed at the lack of answers. But I guess they threw in so much stuff over the series that it would've been pretty much impossible to tie up all of it in a way that was consistent with all the rest and that made sense.

The religious aspect did bother me, though. There was all the stuff about time travel and physics and science in the earlier seasons, so I thought there would be an explanation for the sideways world other than what it ended up being. I guess in the grand scheme of things, it's a fantasy show, and purgatory isn't that much different than being in an alternate dimension or whatever, but still. It bugged me.

And, it's totally a minor thing, but I wish Aaron had gotten Charlie's ring.
